How Do I Say Goodbye

Saying good bye to love is almost like dying, once you get over the fears of what you leave behind and start to focus on where you are going it gets easier. The more you focus on what used to be the more difficult it becomes. We can not hold on to the past, it is only the stepping stones to brighter futures but can be the step down to damnation, pure misery. Learn from the past and respect it for what it has been but break away from it with now intimacy

How Do I Say Goodbye

He is a love, a dear friend

One I thought I will have to the end

We shared much together he and I

Didn’t expect it would come to my saying good bye

Only I have found a love of my very own

I care for him dearly and we have grown

So close in so short a space of time

A love so true, so pure, so sublime

Yesteryear I was lonely but not now

Got this love that always seems to some how

Open my heart and let a warm light in

Oust the darkness of temptation, of sin

Don’t have to sneak around or wonder how will we

Be able to live together, he with me

Yet good bye isn’t easy, I must not intimately hug or kiss

Even though I’m tempted to, I love another and can’t be remiss
