Please Don’t Go

Sometimes we say things we would rather we didn’t say but it is too late. I notice that given technology we can better check our words before shooting them off to be read. This has taught me the importance of measuring your words. I always spoke freely, trusting that I will best represent my heart. The trouble is that words without the three dimensional gestures and emphasis may not portray your true meaning.

Please Don’t Go

Precious gem that brings such pleasure to me

Let me take your hand for all eternity

Embrace and kiss me here tonight

And lay with me until the morning light

Show me again the depth of your heart

Eyes are like portholes to the soul of God’s art

Delightful beauty with your teasing ways

Oh how I had waited for these special days

No one before as good no one as true

There is bliss that overwhelms me when I’m with you

Gem of gems and the most precious gem I know

Once we’re together again would you Please Don’t Go
