You Are My Everything

What new realities we find out when we test ourselves or when others test us. Not the straight forward yes or no, true or false kind of test but one that questions of very soul. Too often we get questions of the soul and our lips remain mute as though there were no answers. The truth is that most of the time we are not ready to face the reality revealed by the test. Careful the promises you make.

You Are My Everything

Yes my love, I’ll do anything morally

One day love said “Why then stop loving me”

Unexpected dilemma, how could I

A vow is more than a promise so I must try

Really hard to take my love away

Every inch of me tried but my heart could obey

My mind was willing and my body too

Yet I could make it happen, my heart was true

Even the worst thoughts to break it apart

Vile thoughts that for a beat stopped my heart

Evil ideas and terrifying deeds

Ruin the out but never daunt my hearts needs

Yes my love I would do anything for you

That is moral so I can’t stop a love that is true

He who God has joined together

It’s impossible for any to put asunder

Now love looks at me and says I truly believe

God has made you mine and to you I cleave
