A Daughter’s Love

The following was contracted by a friend for a young lady who sees her dad as the most precious of all dads. She believes that she did nothing to deserve such loving dad. It has been my experience that the more loving the parent the more special the child. Sometime the Lord ensures that the precious young ones are given the best need care. By my logic great kids need the best parents

A Daughter’s Love

At periods I behaved undesirable, stubborn and own way

Dadz each time you lovingly and caringly taught me to obey

And on days I was uncertain, scared and wrought with doubt

Undo fears you did and uncertainties rid them out

God’s way once revealed meant so much to me

How often you opened my eyes and caused me to see

Truths the way they were intended and soon you

Educated me to embrace these truths too

Regardless to my age you still want to tuck me in

Save me from a world of danger, a world wrought in sin

Lots of time you knew I would get up when you weren’t near

One those nights we would hear you shout “Get in there!”

Very often I heard you love me and Dadz, Hanni Pooh loves you

Enjoy today’s Birthday Dadz, tomorrow’s and many others too
