Tied And Cried

I was walking my young dog recently and he was happy all along. He had taken to the chain and understood what it meant to have it on. When I lead he follows and he walks at my side. It is like a dancing team. But he is still very young and everything still must be explained. When I tied the chain on the front gate to give him some sun from a bath, I left and although he didn’t bark he protested with his leaps and somersaults. You see I used the chain now for bondage and not for the pleasure anymore. Now he see the chain and no longer feels a desire.

Tied And Cried

The sun is up and smiling so why can’t I

I’m filled with love but still I cry

Even the birds their singing is noise to me

Don’t care for the flowers or the large Bearded Fig tree

A cold breeze is blowing although the sun shines bright

No more can I go on singing, I haven’t the might

Didn’t smell the fresh fragrance in the morning air

Can’t enjoy the sounds of laughter every where

Rain come, we are kinship, it’s easy to see

I have dark clouds circling and tears fall intermittently

Even though the sun is out and climbing high

Deep down inside I can hear the day saying good-bye
