Never Leave Nor Forsake

Nights may seem long but in time there’ll be light

Every day I’ll reinforce these things I cite

Vows to be there through thick and thin

Evils to be gone with my life of sin

Romance that will forever bloom

Lots of kids to be blessed in my fertile womb

Eyes that shine with love and never swell with pain

Anniversaries to celebrate our matrimony again

Violence will never be from me in any form

Earthquakes will rumble in vain and we’ll ride any storm

No disappointments because we know the Lord will provide

Once we are together there will be nothing to hide

Realizing the past is long gone and there it must be

Forgiven and forgotten for all eternity

Oh love the day will turn to months and months to years

Reefs will be laid on great mounds of tears

Sure as the stars that shine in the night sky

Although the light will glow dim my true love will never die
