Gets Well, Friend

I met him many years ago and he had a very inviting spirit. It was amazing the people he knew and who knew him but what was even more awesome is that you hardly knew that he had impaired vision. Cranston Browne can see deep into a person’s soul and can detect a person’s moodiness by being in the same room as them.

Christ gave His endorsements upon our friend

Real and earnest prayers he would extend

And today through his troubles Christ asked that we

Not stop blessing others with the same sincerity

Share in His words, one with the other

Teach them to every child, every friend or stranger

Our aim is to walk by faith and not by sight

Never forget our love for God and His awesome might

Be humble and be of good faith, whatever we do

Return caring smiles return love too

On this day of uncertainty we know God intercedes

We know prayer guarantees that the Lord answers our needs

Now our Cranston has been hospitalized so we kneel and pray

Everything shows to be good, pray he Gets Well, Friend today

Same poem new acrostic highlighted

Pray that he

Gets Well, Friend
