Margarite M Ingram

The following is a double acrostic poem in tribute and to the memory of Tami’s grand mother. Tami is a facebook friend who dared to share her grief with us. I pray that these words can in some way, however small, help.

Margarite M Ingram

Margarite Muriel Ingram was precious to all

A joyous, humane spirit who welcomed each call

Readily she encouraged others to laugh and smile

Giving all her blessings if you would just stop awhile

A second child, elder to eight

Remembered by all for how she would communicate

In life she always understood the importance of family

The need for us to take every opportunity

Every chance to show interest in what others do

Making time accessible for her children and their children too

It is her affectionate nature that we remember most

Numerous days she gave us laughter when we were close

God has selected to take His servant and she heard His call

Right away she made us ready for her leaving, she told us all

All signs signaled her final departure, her time here will cease

May God keep you in comfort and Allow You An Eternal Peace
