The Tear Drops

I have seen the fragility of life and watched as love ones passed away. They are so many who seem to be sad at the lost yet there are others who understand that God’s children are bound for a better place. When our love ones die and have been servants for God’s work we can rejoice, they have met a glorious retirement.

The Tear Drops

They fell one first then two and three

How quickly a flood of tears came over me

Eyes were swollen and my heart too

Tears built up inside waiting to burst through

Every happy memory of her came rushing by

All the days we spent together, just she and I

Recalling her caring demeanor when others seemed to be

Dreading my decisions, disappointed in me

Rest in Peace oh sweet and precious grandmother

Our souls will one day be with each other

Peacefully go my precious for great was your work here

So God awaits you in Heaven and you’ll smile, no tear drops from there
