Miss Broome

The following was contracted by a mother of a six year old who wanted to have something done like it was coming from her child for her school teacher. It is a younger age group than I attempt to do since I am not as acquainted with the constructions these kids use. I am grateful to this lady for encouraging me to try and happy that both she and her kid liked it.

Miss Broome

My teacher is as sweet as can be

I can go to her if anything is troubling me

She takes care of me like a mommy away from home

She tidies my hair if I should need a brush or comb

But my teacher in Lower 3B will also do

Reading and sums and quiet time too

Once a sum is wrong she helps me make it right

One more time she says patiently and in time I might

Manage to do my school work the best I could

Education is easier with Miss Broome because she’s so good.
