Somebody Bigger

Mario Lanza is my family’s favorite singer and we generally stop and listen when ever we here his music. This title was inspired from one of his many songs and every time I read it I will remember his beautiful song from the spiritual collection he sung. Somebody Bigger Than You And I is forever a favorite.

Somebody Bigger

So who made the Sun dad, the Moon and the stars

Or who cause the wound to heal with no scars

Mountains dad, the rivers and the seas

Every bruise is mend if I fall and hurt my knees

Birds that fly, fish swim and the beast that run

Or the tears of sadness and laughter with fun

Dad, the breeze that blows upon my face

You too see the ballerina’s unique grace

Big things and small things unknown to me

I am in awe by all these things I see

Got to be a force mightier than men

Giving this world no apparent end

Ecological balance dad, who made it all, will they die

Rest assured, no my child, Somebody Bigger than you or I.
