I Want A Gal Who

There was a picture I saw on facebook with a poster that inspired this Acrostic Poem. I am thankful to the friend who shared this with her friends. This is in response to the poster and may be seen as the males reply t6o the female’s needs

I Want A Gal Who

If I wrestle with her I can let her win

We can talk about things superficial or things within

And I can cover her cold hands in my warm hoodie pockets

Never be annoyed when she sleeps on my sweatshirts or smockettes

Tell her I love you and mean it where ever we go

And I can kiss her in the rain, the sunshine and in the snow

Got free reign to call her unexpectedly

And realize not everything she says she had meant it to be

Let us go swimming on those hot days

When I have a problem she can help. I’ll listen to what she says

How beautiful she is and I’ll tell her with each kiss

One who will call me hers and holding her will be bliss
