Ember Meets Emilee

Evening time gone, it was bedtime for toddlers

Meeting took place between our two baby girls

Bedtime had no pull on them though

Ember and Emilee were eager to know

Right up until this time they had only heard

Mere mention of the other, merely a word

Every word though suggested they should meet

Especially with so much with which to compete

They chatted and played together all night

So you can stand up already Ember, I wished I might

Emilee I’m sure you will soon but look you’ve got two teeth

Maybe they look good girl but they cause me great grief

It’s unfortunate they didn’t meet sooner they had more to say

Like the sea bath and swimming and the games they play

Emilee I hope you can come again soon, I really like you!

Ember I hope I can cause I like you too!
