Some May Sing In Their Shower

Lots of artistes are born out of the reverberant singing in the shower and unfortunately so many of us remain skill less. But we sing none the less. Singing is used to hide away our feelings, to rid our bodies of stress and for our general well being. When ever you can sing, sing out loud.

Some May Sing In Their Shower

Singing to the top of their voices

Oldie goldies and classical choices

Musical treats they once heard

Embellishing if they forgot a word

Morning showers are like the Grande Theatre

Audiences the household and the nearby neighbor

You can hear them in their brief fame

Shouting to the top of the voices, always the same

Incredible how they seem never to care

No worries of badly pitched notes, no fear

Got their bravery from years of singing out loud

In the acoustics of the shower and away from the crowd

No one to jeer at them should they make a slip

They start over as they like and not by a maestro’s tip

Harmony is not a must because they sing alone

Every select melody singing on their own

I wish I could join this trend but today it wasn’t meant to be

Refrains can’t quell my melancholy

Screams were loud and I bald too

Had no care of on listeners to my debut

Once I got started it was hard to stop

Washed away with the shower every teardrop

Every sadness now gone and a new resolve stayed

Regularly Some May Sing In The Shower but I Cried then prayed
