Today Alone

I anticipate the days when I am not in touch and they come so quickly. I think of them and they rob me of energy. How unlike the way it is meant to be, days, all days should bring joy eternally. So why then doesn’t this day

Today Alone

This is not the way I wanted to spend

Our lives apart my loving friend

Dreary and long with no possibility

A chance that I would ever see

You today, to morrow to when

Apart from the computer it’s been

Long without you and now today

Our lives are torn so far away

No way our hearts can beat as one

Ecstasy elude us here Today Alone
