A Kiss Goodnight

Today I write on something that I haven’t even thought of before, people and the fear of falling in love. I know people who may love for years but try still not to fall in love. Yet what really is the difference. I haven’t explained it here but I opened the window to let in some light.

A Kiss Goodnight

A gentle caress upon my lips

Keep yours there until consciousness slips

I want to fall asleep with you by my side

So kiss and hold me though my eyes are startled wide

Sometimes evils may plague and disturb my rest

Got comfort here upon your chest

On the rhythmic falls as you breathe

One beat of your gives me reprieve

Don’t go even after I’ve fallen to sleep

Never leave me alone and I’ll never again weep

I am made stronger with your love though it scares

Getting the affections of someone who truly cared

Honey, falling makes you stronger, you said to me

There is no fear in love when you love completely
