Bambie

Her baby died, she cried. I could hear the sadness in her heart and there was little I could do to help quell her feelings. What I have done though is to make this brief acrostic poem about the little I knew and hope that the memory of Bambie lives on.

Bambie

Brown eyes baby with your short, shinny cream hair

Are you sure you knew how much mummy care’

Mummy held your little body in the palm of her hands

Brushed you lightly with her fingers to comb your strands

In this short time together she loved you dearly

Even though it was brief she’ll always remember you sweet Bambie
