Internet Blackout

I clicked and what did I see

No change in URL, but the cursor was busy

Then I clicked gain and still the same

Every time I clicked I see that website name

Returning the dreaded message “Server Not Found”

Not found? Kidding me? The Internet finds anything around

Every Tom, Dick and Harry who has a “dot com”

Turns up in every search, ask my far from Internet savvy mom

But now I’m blacked out, I can’t find anyone

Looks like it’s me all alone

A call to my friend verified that she

Could surf the Internet liberally   

Kind of makes me wonder, why today

On a time when my friend has moved away

Unable to reach her with all my technology 

This black out, does it hold a lesson for me?
