Hate He, Hit He, Haiti

So many mix feelings yet there is great certainty that those who lost their live and endured to the end are bound to a better place. This can mean that those who survived and are now tormented by cold night, hot days, unclean water, little food and all else may not be the fortunate few as many may think.

Hate He, Hit He, Haiti

How, why, what did I do?

Are you punishing me too?

The signs seem obvious to some who look on

Earthquake comes and iniquity be gone

Have this been my solemn fate

Evil wiped away now the people wait

Hopeful that their pain will go away

Impatiently waiting for the new day

The land springs its bounty

Honey flowing in the streets abundantly

Everyone misguided or are they?

How like the image I used to pray

A land with no more pain where no one cries

I feel the people’s joys and the love in their eyes

That bright light that led me over this way

Is like a portal which leads to Heaven, to a better day!
