Are You In Love With Me

Not many of us ever get the chance to be in love. We love the ones we are with but we can live with them for years without being in love with them. How do we know the difference? When the romantic writers speck of being in love, they usually mean that your love for the other blinds you to all other loves, except your love for God. This love is your earthly priority, the love that conquers all. To be in love is to be under the intoxication of love.

Are You In Love With Me

A look penetrated but didn’t reveal

Right deep inside what hearts should feel

Eyes smile as though certain but still she was unsure

You say you love me but this time she needed more

Once her heart was broken and she said never again

Until she was certain she would never risk the pain

It happened so quickly, she had lost control

No longer could she hush her heart and soul

Lady of strength but in his hands she was like putty

One kiss and she melted and was behaved nutty

Very good it all was until one day

Everything took a new twist by something he did say

Words that sliced away all the outward show

It was all compelling and she just had to know

The romantic nights, lover fights and all that had occurred

Had struck a different blow and her feelings were blurred

Many had told her they loved her and many still do

Except she asked him “Are You In Love With Me..well are you?
