International Day For Women

I am woman watch me roar

Numbers have grown, we’re better than before

There are women in all walks of life, some ruling cities

Even have women in charge of countries with no royalties

Regardless to who you are a woman once tended you

Nurtured your ambition, your skills and character too

A woman may be generally weaker in frame but what of this

There are so many other areas of strength in women that exists

I am woman, I am strong and invincible

Organizations failed that treated women less than man’s equal

No job is too big or idea too small

A woman values and considers them all

Ladies refined and ladies with an edge

Doesn’t matter the type, they will equally pledge

All they have to ensure their child’s safety

You’ll never find a women to lack such charity

Faced with torture , abuse and discrimination

Only women rose above these to be the best in their Nation

Rose more equipped, to be even stronger

Were tested for years but they need be tested no longer

Oh, yes, I’m wise but it’s wisdom born of pain

My brothers still don’t realize what through it all I’ve gained

Even though I’ve come a long way and garnered great integrity

Not yet am I completed, the Lord’s not finished with me
