The Winds Go By
|
The Winds Go By Today another dark cloud but there was no rain Hoped flooded my inner self and blew like a hurricane Even today with a peep of Sunshine a glimmer of light We seemed lost in its darkness like a pitch black night I wait for the intermittent gush, the passing breeze Nothing yet to extinguish the drought since I got on the
knees Didn’t expect or imagine the wait would have been so
long Sometimes we cannot fashion the day just by a chosen
song God I ask for the leniency you willed, your grace and
your glory Only you can administer the course of time and our
destiny By your will alone we shall have love, rain and a
cloudless sky You Lord; determine days and govern how The Winds Go By |
