Thigh And A Rib

She used to order the same thing every time she went for fast food, especially when she was pregnant. My friend has a best friend that she continues to speak of like they are still buddies, like no time has ever come between them, even after these 25 years or more. It is really great to have these long lasting friends

Thigh And A Rib

The Karaoke music started to play

Had Randolph, Andy, Selwyn and a friend from Sure Pay

It was that familiar song with the familiar beat

Get up she told the Three Musketeers, Get On Your Feet

Hush away the crowd became, they were quiet for a while

And there I saw for the first time how she loved to smile

Never for just a moment did she flash the pearly whites at me

Didn’t notice her before at school, not even while playing hockey

And today, from here on with all the things that are now past

Regardless to brave absence, her babe Kianna 13, it’s all fast

I’ll endeavor forever to keep her closer, never will she stray

Because she is the love of my friend, she’ll be my friend I love today

There is more to this poem than meets the eye initially. Here is the second acrostic highlighted.
