The Wages Of Sin Is Death

Every night is a promise for the day to come. I pray before selecting the one that the Lord guides me to. My interpretation of these promises are not meant to be an explanation of their meaning but rather an expansion on how I believe they speak to my life or those around me. Here is one from the first days my friend, daily telephone and devotional partner, took up new residence, where a telephone line was at the minimum 5 weeks away

Day 2

March 02

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Wages Of Sin Is Death

Types of sins may be grouped in four

Have none of them enter your soul’s door

Evict them if they should creep in

When you discover its presence get rid of sin

Attitude is one such group for the personality type

Grouping hatred, envy, anger, pride and evil hype

Every Action which displeases God forms another group too

Stealing, drunkenness, blasphemy, adultery, the evils men do

Omission to do as God commanded forms the group Neglect

Failure to feed the hungry, visit the sick and the needy reject

Sins that fall into the final group of Intent

Involves the desires of the heart although no action was spent

Neglect therefore is one and another is Attitude

Intent and Action are the final groups we include

Sins are many but can be grouped into four

Don’t let them in when you open your soul’s door

Evict them if they should sneak in or get by

Any sin will destroy the entire body and thou shall die

The wages of sin is death as the Lord ordained

He gifted us Eternal Life through Jesus as Paul explained
