He’s saying that those who used

Extras in his vehicle paid more

Even the air-conditioning when they closed his door

Are we no longer paying for the trip here to there

Running up a tab for select distances anywhere

Can he expect his fares to pay for his upkeep

Overhauling, services, gas maybe where he goes to sleep

No! I think not! When another Taxi get a flat

Does the taxi man increase rates to offset that

If there was an accident and the vehicle needs a fix

Taxi men, do they adjust rates, target fares in the mix

I do not think we should pay

On the cost of up keep or the add-ons that may

Nebulously affect each individual fare

Impossible to determine gas, brake fluid, air-con required repair

No, taxi men should be paid standard but receive TIPS
