Cries Of Joy

I heard the beautiful story of a baby that was successful discharged from the Neonatal ward, still just over 3lbs. The baby was home kicking up a storm and not letting his mother sleep at night. When the mom seemed to be emotionally weakening by the excessive work, her husband reminded her of a few weeks ago. At that time the baby was still in the incubator fighting for its life and the mother prayed for a healthy baby that she can have at home. Well the baby is at home and crying like all healthy babies now.

Cries Of Joy

Couldn’t believe how small he was

Really adorable still, my baby has

Inspired my brothers and sisters as he has Mom, Mitch and me

Every fresh day with my baby brings joy to my family

So if the nights make my baby cry and cause him unrest

Or whatever the difficulty I’ll snuggle him to my breast

For I painfully recall when in an incubator he slept

Just those nights recently when with uncertainty I wept

Oh Father, you alone know my prayers and you gave me my boy

You Lord, have given me the miracle of his Cries of Joy
