Not Ever Again

Living Intelligently From Experience

A Path in the Lives and Experiences of People

as they affect many, taken from

lives past, lives now and lives that will be

This poem was an entry under LIFE along with some 34 others in the FCLE (Frank Collymore Literary Endowment contest. FCLEL001

Not Ever Again

Never will I go

On a mountain bike again,

The dangers I already know

Even with gear it’s insane.

Very unlikely will I repeat,

Errors I made before;

Repeat the days I would cheat,

At board games we played on the floor.

Got no reason again to lie

And wrongs I’ll abstain,

If only I didn’t crash into that guy;

Never walk, laugh, sing, swim, see or breathe, Not Ever Again!
