I Am As Guilty As Sin

Living Intelligently From Experience

A Path in the Lives and Experiences of People

I Am As Guilty As Sin

I believe the child fathers the man,

A childhood of deviousness will

Make for evils of a criminal plan;

A man who might cheat, steal and kill.

So when I cried at the slightest thing,

Got emotional over frivolity,

Use long walks to avoid bickering;

I was creating my personality.

Listening to the classics long past my years,

Trained me in musical appreciation,

Yesteryears works of Gibran and so too Shakespeare’s;

Are responsible for my inclination.

So I have no one to blame for my romanticism,

Such I molded from within,

I alone must bear the criticism

None but me, I Am As Guilty As Sin!
