What’s In A Name
That pray I found yesterday evoked some discussion last night. What remains a concerning point is that the pray to our Lord has everything in it that strikes me as very Christian yet the pray was Islam. I don’t know and didn’t care to know enough of the Muslim religion. The little that I was exposed to was all negative. An old friend and recent convert told me that the Muslims thought the same of Christians and didn’t want to give it the time of day for consideration
| What’s In A Name We call him dad or sometimes daddy He is called by some pop or pappy And in the third person my father or the old man They call him sometimes what ever they can So many names for someone who is the same I wonder then of the old TV series that sought to proclaim No matter how we refer to the creator in Heaven above A name is but a name once we refer to Him with love Names in our Christian bible alone are over 20 And we still know each of them refers to the Almighty Maybe like “The Long Search” proclaimed, we are climbers seeking the top Every climber a religion, using different tools but heading still to Pop |
