The Prime Minister and his wife celebrate their wedding anniversary today. You ever wondered what people who seem to have everything do on their anniversary? I know that I can not afford to give them anything tangible but I will like to write this Acrostic poem to my friend, the Prime Minister of Barbados, the Honorable David Thompson and his first lady Mara Thompson.
| Happy Anniversary Pray Hope is now spoken with audacity A daring expectation for how things should be Peace is the thing we all want the most People imagine prosperity and wish for it with a toast Yet private prays are made for peace each day And we see many countries praying to end their dismay Nations fight in wars to secure a peace Neighbors find none, it’s like climbing a pole with grease I realize the difficulty so I choose to pray Variety of benefits from the Lord be yours today Every blessing that the Lord has to give Realized in your house, every where you live So that an audacity for hope is more than a thought And nothing will take place that ought naught Results always be good and the way you project Your family be given awards of admiration and respect Positive lives be yours and will always be Regardless to the turmoil which you’ll face in society And with my earnest request from the Father today You will observe your 21st Anniversary in a very special way |
