Absolutely Absurd

The radio hosts used the words absolutely absurd to describe the adulterers who have been using the Internet to find cheating relationships. It is the kind of story that makes you want to laugh at Man’s folly and wonder what makes some men one way and so few another. I read in a Facebook post yesterday of a young lady who was shocked to see that chivalry still lives because the young man was opening doors, getting bags and walking her to her door step. The real chivalry is when men do these things even when they already have the woman or when the woman is no body they want to have.

Absolutely Absurd

A long and heavy snow

Barricaded at home with no where to go

So it’s the perfect opportunity

Opportunity to show how he missed me

Love had been punctuated with long stays at work

Under all the stress he never once shirked

To stay at home even to mend what we had

Every day he ran off leaving me at home sad

Love was given this gift of snow

Yet my love worked on the computer doing what I didn’t know

And then I saw a news reel when comfort I did seek

Booming business brought 2500 new members in a week

Stupid people who have their lovers right there

Using the Internet to seek love elsewhere

Rational thought drew me love’s computer to explore what I heard

Darling left the screen up and what I saw was Absolutely Absurd
