Please Take Your Time To

This world is so rushed nowadays that we forget to take our time to do many of the things that we are presented with. The easiest solution is to slow down, in what ever we do, slow is better than rushed. Think it through, even when faced with tests or examinations we have always been told take the time to read through the questions carefully. Here are just a few things I took the time to mention in my acrostic poem, I’m sure you have more.

Please Take Your Time To …

Praise God for the weather for He will command

Learn to take your time to work the land

Each word should flow slowly, emphasis strong and not weak

As you present yourself, take your time to speak

Stay in control as you commute, stay alive

Each day you rush, take your time to drive

There is much around, take your time to observe creation

All the plants, the animals, all the people of your nation

Keep your composure, avoid quarrels and strife

Encourage positive thoughts, take your time to enjoy life

You should take bites meticulously, savor the sweet

Once you have been served a dish, take your time to eat

Use time to recover that you might be your best

Relax on those days off, take your time to rest

There is lots to go around, share your delight and cheer

In all you do remember take your time to share

Mankind is given this blessing from above

Embrace a lover and take your time to make love

These are just a few things you encounter each day

On quiet and peaceful time, Take Your Time To pray
