Religion – Remembrance Day

Here is a poem that was lost in time, one that I jotted down on paper and was only recently found. There were a number of them and because I didn’t write accompanying preambles, I gave them all, this general one, that I may post them still. Here I tried to give them individual names, this one I called “Remembrance Day

Religion – Remembrance Day

Remembrance day for those who in battle died

Enemy countries where bodies are spread far and wide

Lieutenants in disputes that once were great

I can not remember why we would obliterate

God’s children in these lands far away

I don’t know why they brought so much dismay

Over what we fought that we couldn’t speak

Now talking to settle is considered as weak
