Religion - Independence

Here is a poem that was lost in time, one that I jotted down on paper and was only recently found. There were a number of them and because I didn’t write accompanying preambles, I gave them all, this general one, that I may post them still. Here I tried to give them individual names, this one I called “Independence”

 

Religion - Independence

 

Remember the Union Jack and God save the Queen

Everyone disliking how things had been

Life dependent on the Monarchy

Independence came to rescue you an me

God gives us daily benefits

In Him trust and make His ways habits

Only then can true independence be achieved

Nations have prospered when in God they believed
