Picnic Stampede

I had a great time at the picnic. It was held in an unusual place; in fact, it was the very first time that someone or group held a picnic there. It was very well organized and it is easy to imagine how easily it can become a better site. With a few picnic benches and tables placed strategically and provision to ensure that the cars don’t damage the grounds, will put the spot right there as the number one for me. Who needs the beach!

Picnic Stampede

Panic ensued when they came

I was seated and I felt the same

Couldn’t run there was no where to go

No where from their threatening blow

I heard the shouts and the feet

Camilla rushed from her seat

Stop them, someone, they mustn’t come here

They had no right bringing them so dangerously near

And worse they seem to have no control

Men handling animals or was there a reversal of role

Panic ensued but some order came

Everyone became calm and the animals more tame

Don’t understand what the horse riders were hoping to do

Enjoyment came again when we bid them good riddance, adieu.
