The Auld Lang Syne song evades me – I can never remember the words but the title of the song inspired this Acrostic Poem – “Got Our Destiny” that I wish to share with you. I hope the message becomes clear and that it can play some part as you say goodbye to the old year and hello to 2010

Auld Lang Syne - Destiny Another year, wow! Lord I give
you praise Unbelievable to many but I
survived the days Lord you walk with me wherever I
go Dear Father I give you praise cause
this I know Life is unpredictable not only
for me And good health today is no
security No certainty that we will have
tomorrow Got no days put down, no time to
borrow So Lord we all must turn to you You alone can ensure that we’ll
get through Now that we have 2009 behind us and
its despair Entrust us with prosperity for
this coming New Year |
