Auld Lang Syne - The Nation Newspaper

The Auld Lang Syne song evades me – I can never remember the words but the title of the song inspired this Acrostic Poem – “The Nation Newspaper” that I wish to share with you. I hope the message becomes clear and that it can play some part as you say goodbye to the old year and hello to 2010

Auld Lang Syne - Nation

All our subscribers who enthusiastically

Unwrap their papers to read bright and early

Loyal readers who stop by their favorite spot

Drivers or those walking who buy from who ever has got

Lots of you get them delivered to right where you are

At home or work, in your convalescing bed or just sitting in your car

Nation News wants to thank you readers and our sellers too

Give thanks for your loyalty, the lasting association with you

Sometimes we forget the magnitude of our goal and dream

You help us to remember why printing the dailies reign supreme

Now we wish your best days of 2009 be your worst days in 2010

Every blessing this New Year and that these blessings never end
