Know Now That The Lord

Sometimes we need the reassurance that all will be well. When I was a child, I used to believe that once I left the room, cameras followed me and nothing went on the room I departed. I thought everyone’s story of life was recorded and that we were being viewed in the same way we watch movie stars. Of course I learned later that although the lights may go off in the room, life doesn’t stop.

 

Know Now That The Lord

 

Keep the faith for He

Never forsakes in adversity

On Him you can lean when things are tough

When you feel like you’ve had enough

No more vigor left, no more vitality

Obey His word and know that He

When you feel like you can no longer go

The Lord will lift you up and your might will grow

He promised that He will always be near

Amidst all the troubles just waiting to hear

Those words from you, Father help me

The moment you open your lips and heart, He

Hears and with the blink of an eye will

Elevate you though you have fallen ill

Lift you up when love too may fall

One call to Him and he will hear your call

Remember these things in all your despairs

Do these and His love will direct you during the coming years
