Pleas Teacher

The local newspaper recently confused and used the word pleads when they should have written pleas. The title of this poem is to highlight that teachers have the control on students from day one if they would set the tempo. Nowadays, students use all kinds of excuses including legal actions against their teachers to up their grades.

Pleas Teacher

Pupils have a way of annoying you

Learning little, trying nothing, so what do we do

Educate them to your max, foregoing all

And training them new ways to have a ball

Sugar coating the complex, taking it apart

They count on you to the extend the kindness of your heart

Every class is the same except for a few

And when you find that class, its generally because of you

Cause children are the reflection of discipline adults impart

How they respond to you is measured on you from the start

Exert your best, give them your all and stick to the righteous way

Reward will be realized tomorrow but for now have a Happy Birthday!
