Our Joyous Night

A special birthday wish to an old friend, I hope that it finds her in good condition. I saw her in a distance only, actually on the screen, and if we could judge from appearance then I know that she is doing very well. Yet, nothing can be more reassuring than hearing directly from some people. I wish her VERY Happy Birthday and continued successes

Our Joyous Night

On jumping up from a restless sleep

Use only nature’s sounds to get back deep

Rest your head down and listen to the sound

Joy asked once and now there’s no disturbance around

Once none of the ills return to cause despair

You can listen then and soon you will hear

Outside agreeable sounds are across the pasture

Use these heavenly lulls, the orchestra from nature

Sounds created by the Almighty, sounds past and present

Now the developed ear entrusted in you is current

Is there that you can use nature to hush any regret

Giving calm when sleep was rudely upset

Have no fear or concern the Lord with His might

Takes a gentle exhale, blows away despair, gives Our Joyous Night
