And When She Called

Have you ever had someone you really cared for and who cared for you fallout with you because you were both being so considerate you got annoyed that the other person was showing so much concern. Foolish, don’t you think? It is so hard to find someone that can share your love and if you do, know that they will do almost anything for you, just as you will for them so think before you deny them and opportunity, what ever the reason.

And When She Called

And so what if you waited all day

Never knowing what’s left to say

Didn’t think there was anything more

Wasn’t expectant, wasn’t sure

Her opinions stopped being yours, but when

Every thing had changed cause up until then

Nothing it seem would ever get in the way

She was perfect and understood all you had to say

How could something so well intended go so wrong

Every time she demonstrated she wanted to get along

Can I, she asked, do something very special for you?

And I declined because I didn’t want her do

Lots of work for me when she otherwise worked so hard

Love prevented me from allowing her to self disregard

Expected she would’ve understood what had motivated me

Daybreak didn’t change anything And When She Called, we…..

It is hard to allow people to do things for you when you are accustomed to doing them yourself, but you block your blessing and others by closing the door to the opportunity. We suffer in silence at times because we do not let people show they care the way they want to because we are selfish with ourselves.
