Tell Me How Much Again

The writers over the years have managed to demonstrate the intensity and the vastness of love. I have heard people asking how much do you love me and people answering with a gesture of the out stretched hands to your side, as far as they could span. I know that the gesture means infinite but then I hear eternity and a day. Is it that love is so immeasurable that we say and do strange thing to represent the unknown?

Tell Me How Much Again

Today she asked how did I

Ever knew love and bid it good-bye

Love once found she said you feel

Like if it’s lost you might never heal

Moon dust caresses you upon the face

Evening clouds cuddle you in their embrace

Hours go by and time has stood still

One kiss from a lover’s lips and it can fill

Weeks may be years with ecstasy

May be one is all it’s meant to be

Unrelenting lovers kiss again and again

Caress each other until a burning pain

Huddles them and bids them why

Are there fewer stars than love in the sky

Grains of sands can never surpass

A lover passion is more than all the blades of grass

Intensity of the sun’s rays are now dim to me

Not even can love be measured with drops from the sea
