When I Awoke I Was Dead

They are still trying to solve the mystery of a local man waking up dead, or so to speak. The account was given by the man himself so we have it from the horse’s mouth by way of a local journalist who wrote it all in one of our leading papers. The Hospital is still mute about what really happened and one medical man himself says that this kind of mistake though previously un heard of is possible. I will listen to find out the real outcome

When I Awoke I Was Dead

Walking close to home, somewhere in Green Hill

Had bad feels so I popped a pill

Epilepsy had for years been killing me

Now I walk with medication as a remedy

It was too late this time cause “Bruggadown!”

A flash of light and I was pon the groun’

Wasn’t very long before I awoke at QE

One female doctor said she was going to release me.

Kept wondering what happened but I was glad to go

Everything was in turmoil and all I know

I was near the Globe when again lights went out

With no warning this time not even to shout

And this time when I awoke there was no light

So cold and black, it was my darkest night

Drawer slid open when I kicked and I asked without threat

Excuse me, boss, you got a blanket

And a man dressed in white turned white with fear

Didn’t know why I was in the morgue but soon I was out of there
