One Week Starts With But One Day

For ever large whole there are small sometimes micro elements that makes it up. You must learn to appreciate the small micro units that make up the whole and recognize their importance. Similarly, every individual plays a vital role in maintaining the universe.

One Week Starts With But One Day

Once I opened my eyes and turned the radio on

No more lethargy, the laziness was gone

Ears were perked and I started to sway

When I heard the “One” tunes they found to play

Every One as familiar as the One before

Encouraging me to give just a little more

Kept me remembering that the drudgery ahead

Starts with just One step, stepping down from bed

That how ever long it seems, the week starts with but One day

And the load is lightened when I step down to kneel and pray

Radio host announcing happy birthdays and anniversaries

Those reminders of love shared in families

Schuster the rooster crowing from the top of the trees

Warm sun rising to guide the birds and the bees

I heard of Wanda and Kay

That they’ll Dine for One Dollar on their special day

Heard the music saying that You’re still the one

Bringing your special remedy to get along

Uniqueness that defines your personality

The special blend that make you one, gives you individuality

One man with an Audacity of Hope to put the world on track

Now is the President of America, the first Black

Each One cell in the body although micro has a big role

Do your part however remedial, it’s essential to control

All the harmony of this universe and with ever day that’s begun

You are One love, One Heart, the only One, a vital and special One
