Would He Have Used The TV

I know, we don’t agree, too many millions of people can’t be wrong and I paint all televangelists with the same brush. The fact is I think that many may start out with good intentions of spreading the word to as many of God’s people as they can, the trouble is that there is no press a click and do it. We have to work for the Lord, not just click and send an email to thousands or have millions turn on a switch. We work hard all day with our daily work yet we want shortcuts doing God’s work. Take this analogy, what would you say to a messenger who preaches God’s word with a bottle to his head and who can’t wait to get his next drug fix? If the source is corrupted how else can the message be interpreted. I somehow don’t think that Jesus will come to us, with all that are suffering and wear a $10,000.00 suit

Would He Have Used The TV

When He spoke He was in the outskirts and hills

Other places like Coliseums and amphitheatres had too many frills

Used His purpose and taught disciples that they may in turn teach

Lots of others the word and how the Lord they may reach

Don’t believe the same media that spreads such iniquity

Have the right means to spread His message that is so Holy

Enter into Gods presence with singing and give praise

How many of these TV’s are surrounded by disrespect nowadays

At the farthest corners of earth where TV’s reach

Valliant soldiers for Christ can go and His word can preach

Efforts to reach the masses is really about

Using conversion on some and then sending them out

Sanctity of worship and prayers we woefully erase

Every time cameras film and broadcast people bowed and giving praise

Dollars corrupt too many and with their new found wealth

They used the TV and corrupt others’ spiritual health

How many weak souls follow the messenger and not the word

Effectively preventing the truths from being heard

There is no doubt that Jesus wouldn’t spread the word by TV

Viewers there are caught in a cycle of deception, money and iniquity
