What A Feeling

This morning I got up a little later than usual, I had turned off the alarm but rolled over. The roosters in my neighborhood thought it best that I got up and soon I was. The morning was already bright out and busy with animal noises who were already feeding and the radio was playing familiar tunes. I got to my feet; I didn’t want any more of this beautiful day to escape me.

What A Feeling

Wake up Shuster the Rooster would shout

Humming birds are busy and all about

Are enjoying this beautiful day

The sun is up and the barn animals say

All is well, come see it as we

Feed on the fresh grass and seeds left early

Every one who is up breathes the fresh air

East saw the sun first but all can now share

Light warm sunlight as it rises up high

It spreads its warmth for you and I

Now Frank did it his way and so can you

Get up Shuster the Rooster says with a Cockle Doodle Doo
