If I Had A Voice I try to wake them up every morn From the crack of dawn they hear my trumpeting horn I crow to the top of my lungs but few know what I say How often they interpret it as “Have a happy day!” And yet sometimes even at 11:30 Daytime far away but I crow incessantly And still nothing, except they mock me Voices crow from clocks electronically One crows during a radio show, at every break I hear no one saying that is a rooster fake Can’t say what I feel but if I could talk too Eff I could I would ask DJ and AG, “How dare you? |
