Thirteen

There are many who hold some superstition about everything. The number 13 holds it litany of way that people avoid so as to warrant off the ill fate associated with this number. Perhaps one of the most noticeable is the absence of a 13th floor in hotels all over America.

On Friday 13th many treat this as a Black Friday and may wear black clothing to remind them of the problems that may have occurred in their lives or are to come. Of course, we have been advised to think positively and the idea alone of the Friday 13th seems to rob us of this virtue.

Thirteen

There is no ill fate

Have 12 too early have 14 too late

I never understand why they say

Reach 13 and it’ll be a bad day

Today I will enjoy another sea bath

Enjoy good company and another good laugh

Every day is the same, rich with opportunity

Never let 13 steal your thunder because of fallacy
