The Battle Is Half Won

Life takes us all along different roads and sometime we meet at the junctions. I don’t remember faces and I have difficulty with name. Let me explain, when I see a face I remember the person even though I can’t put a name to the face. When I hear a name I can’t conjure a face. Still complicated, well it’s even worse in my head. Remember your six senses

The Battle Is Half Won

The bullet penetrated his head and rested on the spine

His balance got impaired, his sight too and you’ll find

Even though he appears okay to the sight

Battling with agonies were his constant fight

And his actions and speech are sometimes unclear

Taking strange measures to make others aware

Then he rubbed his ring and Rub Over Before Every Ring Tarnishes

Lacquer them with brilliance like nail varnishes

Even Run And Notice Doorways Or Lift Portals High

It was incredible how he would never let anything go by

So modestly he’ll say Kindly I Receive Kudos from you

He lived up to expectations and much more too

And since I met him We Enjoy Sharing Love Every Year

Lived each day as they come and dangers beware

Fading sight but we Don’t Adjust Views In Darkness

Watch television and read together in comfortable bliss

One Call Early For The One Night’s stand

Never was part of practices of this now impaired man
