Good Morning Sunshine...Why?

The Sunshine in our lives symbolizes many things, the things that pull us up when we are down. So often we believe there is no where left to turn and then the Sunshine in our lives comes out and melts away the despair. Sometimes you can the Sunshine for others. Whenever you have the opportunity to warm the lives of those in need, remember, “the least of these my brothering”

Good Morning Sunshine….Why?

Good morning Sunshine why do you hide

Obscured behind that grey cloud so wide

Our days don’t feel the same unless you

Dry away the early morning dew

Morning Sunshine, will you stay

Or will you be coming out later today

Rain clouds have gathered and darkened the sky

No signs of your warm rays to draw nigh

It’s been long since you were gone and now I need you

Need your warming arms and guiding light too

Got no where to go without you here

Sunshine I need the life giving light you share

Under these shadows here with nothing to do

No where to go and feeling this blue

So little matters if you wouldn’t come out

Hush my fears and dispel my doubt

I am lost in darkness, I grope but can find

Nothing to rid me of this gloom of mine

Eden was here but it’s now threatened by decay

Without your light my precious flowers will soon dwindle away

How long are you going to be gone Sunshine, is this good-bye

Yesterday was dark too, Good Morning Sunshine…Why?
